Offence against the divine order .... Sin .... Confession - Forgiveness ....

The slightest offence against the divine order has the effect of a loss of strength according to divine law, that what moves completely in God's order is filled with strength, and whoever does not follow His law of order loses it. For the latter is a negative endeavour, which must also have a corresponding effect. However, only that which is carried out fully consciously, mentally or through actions, i.e. that which is recognised as contrary to God, can be called a violation of divine order. Thus, only that which is done in full awareness of wrongdoing can be called "sin"; therefore, man must know right from wrong and freely do that which he recognises as wrong in order to have committed a sin.

This definition is important because the forgiveness of sins requires deep remorse, which can only be felt if the human being recognises his sin and a violation of divine order committed in ignorance of his guilt is not counted as sin. Therefore, confession of guilt is indispensable if a person wants to obtain forgiveness, and this confession of guilt must be connected with the deepest remorse; it must therefore come from the heart, not just be spoken with the mouth, because otherwise forgiveness cannot be obtained.

Thus offences which do not violate divine order but which are labelled as sin by people on the basis of humanly enacted laws can certainly be punished by people but they do not belong to the sins for which forgiveness should be requested from God, because God Himself does not regard them as sin and will also never impute them to a person as sin. For an offence against the divine order only ever consists in the fact that a person transgresses against love for God and his neighbour ....

Everything that is done out of love for God and one's neighbour can never be contrary to divine order, just as, conversely, everything that is contrary to the commandment of love cannot be in divine order, because love is the basic law and divine order is based on it. So always apply the standard to this if the term "sin" is unclear to you ....

A sin must be atoned for if the person is not forgiven, but therefore it must be recognised as sin and abhorred in order to find forgiveness, and therefore the person must also know what is meant by sin, he must know whether and when he has transgressed against the love of God, whether and when he has sinned against his neighbour. And he must bring these sins to Jesus Christ and sincerely ask Him to forgive them for the sake of His blood .... Then he will find forgiveness, then he will be freed from his guilt ....

Amen
