The path to God through Jesus Christ ....

The path to God is close via Jesus Christ, but endlessly far without Him, because He has offered Himself to serve as a bridge to shorten the endlessly long way for the people who are separated from God by a wide chasm, who are so far removed from Him that it would took them eternities to reach God. But man's earthly existence is too short for this goal, and that is why the man Jesus walked a short path out of love for humanity in need, which was immeasurably difficult and laborious to cover, but still let Him reach the goal. He took a path through His love and achieved with God that all people may choose this path who want to follow Him in order to reach God.

It is a narrow, thorny path which only few people want to take, yet Jesus Christ wants to be the guide of all those who trust Him and hand over themselves to Him and His guidance. And they only ever have to follow without resistance, they have to believe that He alone can help them to reach the Heavenly Father, they have to believe in Him Who walked the path of the cross for them of His own will, out of greater than great love for humanity, in order to lead it to beatitude, which can only be found with the Heavenly Father.

His path was harsh and bitter, painful beyond measure and unspeakably difficult because He carried an enormous burden on His shoulders.... He bore mankind's sins because He wanted to bring them to the Father so that mankind could find forgiveness. He had to carry a heavy cross, but His love was so great that He walked the cloister, that He approached God to ask Him, accepting His sacrifice for the sins of His fellow human beings.... And God accepted the sacrifice. ... He forgave all people who handed over their guilt to Jesus Christ and asked Him for His blessing, for His help on earth, for guidance on the earthly path upwards, to the Father, to eternal life.

They can now achieve their goal during their life on earth if they choose the only way that leads safely upwards, the way of the Lord, if they want to be true followers of Jesus Christ, who entrust themselves to Him in their weakness and guilt of sin. But never without Him; Without Jesus Christ the chasm is unbridgeable and the way always leads upwards, but only more and more downwards, if the Cross of Redemption is ignored, which stands at the beginning of the way that surely leads upwards. And He Himself keeps stepping in the way of the earth-walker, showing him the direction that leads upwards ... But who does not listen to Him does not follow Him either. He will still have to wander endless times in the darkness because without Jesus Christ no ray of light will touch him and without light he will go astray....

Amen
